I see we had 2 bookings today - both for dissent - we really must stop getting these daft bookins - bookings for fouls are usually acceptable (for want of a better word) but dissent really is silly.

 

And it sounded a good job that Andy took Ben off today - by all accounts, had he not done so, Ben would have been sent off. He even persisted in moaning at the ref at half time according to RK, and he had been subbed well before then.

 

Given that Pinnock performed well once he got on the pitch, Ben might just have lost his starting place for next Saturday.

Yep i've just got back from the match and imo, Abbey had a mare, He went down in the first half on the edge of the area, dragged down or not i thought he could of kept going, he just did'nt look like his self and got booked, pinnock done very well in the second half, holding play up for the others to get with him. The first half was a terrible display, but half way through the second we came to life and ran the show, the pitch didn't help,the slope was awful, two well taken goals, 3 valuable points in the bag, so lets hope protherhoe is signed because one thing is for sure we are going to miss him.Imo dury was man of the match.Roll on Morcambe.........

The ref was from Bristol LOL. IMO that player that kicked out on the sideline should have walked, not much contact but a kick is a kick. Also if that is classed as a foul how comes we dint get a freekick? Neways I have to say we looked poor in the first half, gave me no confidence that we where going to get something from the game. Essandoh had another good performance. Two well taken goals, the first a lovely header. A couple of dodgy offsides against us otherwise we would have scored 4 and essandoh would be off home with the match ball. Roll on saturday because I cant wait for the sing off between us and Morecambe!!

Bookings for dissent are a disgrace, no matter WHAT provocation or how biased the ref is. Ben should know better. With Haworth, Pinnock and Essendoh all vying for forward places, Abbey is now likely to find himself on the bench, with only himself to blame.

Great result however, Andy and Ade must have thrown a few cups of tea and boots about !!!

Results went our way for a change, and I see a 10 point gap now opening up.We must stay focussed though and take eage game as it comes. However, let us not forget Southport last season, committing suicide in the last 12 games.

On a different note it was good to see Margit nearly doubled their gate to.........400 ! Still doesn't cover the fine or wages, Heh, Heh, Heh.

AND Sodge got sent off yet again!!!!!

Has the bloke got a brain cell?????
