Didn't go myself mate, but speaking to Hornchurchmag last night he did ok when he came on.

Yeah looked OK, difficult first game for him, considering the whole teams disappointing performance, no one seriously tested their keeper, can't recall any shot on target that wasn't struck straight at him.

Gavin Holligan. Oh the days, and how I wish we could have him back - especially as we are the division's lowest scoring side... He was plcuked from Walton & Hersham as an unknown kid and immediately made an impact at K's. He had everything needed to have the big clubs circling from an early stage. Great deal with West Ham - one of the biggest non-league transfer fees received (and no doubt squandered). Hit loads of goals in Hammers' youth and reserve sides but was beset by injury - a broken leg or something effectively halting any chance of progress. His loan spells were very brief and he came back on one to score a few more for us. Done alright at Wycombe too - last I heard he was scoring for Crawley on loan recently. Shame he seems to be drifting back into non-league football again as had high hopes for him.
