I'd be surprised if Tamworth don't pick up a few more points than that before the end of the season.

Plus as we saw last year once the top sides sort out the promotion/play-off places there can be some pretty strange results.... I think we need a few more wins before we can start thinking about safety, for those of us who have other commitments and struggle to get to away games it would be nice to watch some home wins.

Leigh & Northwich to only get 1 moe point this season and Tamworth to only get 3 ?? Sounds a bit OTT to me. Northwich - not impossible, given their supporters comments on Confguide. Leigh - think they will go down, but cant see that they will only get 1 point in rest of season.

 

Tamworth will also get more than 3 points, surely? For a start, they have Farnborough at home on Saturday and my bet is they will win that one.

 

I also note that Leigh play Northwich at home on Saturday week - so the prediction table effectively says that will be a draw, and that both will lose all their other games - mind you, Leigh have a horrible set of away games left - Aldershot, Barnet, Exeter, Halifax, Scarborough and Shrewsbury - it is difficult to see them getting more than a couple of points from those. And the home games include us, Hereford, Burton, Margate and Telford, alongside Northwich. So if we win there, or at worst, get a draw, I cant see Leigh finishing above us.

 

So that really leaves Farnborough.

I agree that we survive - I had us on 50 points and Farnborough on 37 as 3rd bottom (if thats the case, we only need 2 more wins to be safe, although we obviously cant work on that basis)
