Seems Councillor MacMillan was less than impressed with EFM sponsoring the Braintree game on Saturday, and refused to speak to us in the bar - "Bad PR, guys, I don't wish to talk to you" - obviously trying to tender his Honourary Membership resignation.

 

Gary Wraight was similarly unimpressed, and made that quite clear to myself and Thornsy, but then again, there's absolutely no danger of him ever having any Honourary status to hand back. To be honest, I didn't even realise he was still at the club.

 

Let me make one thing clear.

 

We paid for that sponsorship out of our own money on Saturday.

 

Nobody tells us what to do with our cash, and it's no-one else's business other than our own what we choose to do with our cash.

And it's not like Braintree finished the day up, we drunk the bar dry!

 

I can't actually remember anything that Gary Wraight said but I remember leaving and thinking what a [****!!****]. I seem to remember talking to De Souza and Castle as well but haven't got a clue what was siad to them either but didn't leave thinking [****!!****] so thats good.

 

Scott Oakes and Rob Smith are top'olde'boys I seem to recall.

 

The non-leauge paper says Gary Wraight played on Saturday, not that I noticed!
