Apology

I understand that a couple of my posts may have upset a few people at ETFC recently. I apologise for any offence or trouble I may have caused. I recognise how much the players and others connected with the club have put in. Of course each and every single player in the Town squad is more than good enough to play at this level, it was just frustration on my part that we haven't been getting the right result on match day.

 

Come on Town, let's finish the season on a high!

We are a fans owned club where every fan is special so we need to listen to our fans and I'm sure Jim and the players share a bit of Gonzo's frustration about recent results.

I have my sauces who shall remain nameless. Still, shouldn't be too hard to spot me. I'll be the one moving very quickly around brimmo and using any large objects (i.e. floodlights, stands, fruitbat...) as cover!

its all well and good now, but too little too late, what you fail to realise that the players you have slagged down are the ones that care about the club the most not players that fly by night. everyone is entitled to some bad games!

Fans have a right to critiseze players if they feel someone is not performeing well. Especially as this is a club owned by the fans. I don't think there's been much slagging of though, just critisism.

This is a 'fans' forum'. It's reason for existing is to allow fans to have their say about the Essex Senior League. This means posting about the various clubs, results, players...etc. I came onto the forum after watching a poor game and gave my opinion on why things went wrong. Rumour has it that my post was then used by officials at a rival club to try and lure certain individuals away.(I find this hard to believe)

 

Players must expect criticism when results aren't going our way. You won't see much criticism of players at other clubs because they haven't got the fans who watch them week in week out. Surely players don't expect to go onto a fans' forum and see nothing but praise when they haven't been demolishing the opposition?!

 

I've praised every single one of those players in the past, but that doesn't mean I have to do so every time they play.

 

As honoured as I am that people take note of my ramblings I think perhaps it's time that those who don't want to hear my opinions simply dismiss me as the muppet that I am.

we have ALL been miffed at the recent home performances, and becos we ALL care we are all entitled to our opionions. no opinion is invalid, but some pi$$ people off.

 

Can we now move on, as one club, as there is still only

ONE TEAM IN ENFIELD.
