For those who didn't see the programme...

...EFM had a page dedicated to them, as all sponsors at Braintree do.

Nice picture of the Zeal wedding, and the following dialogue...

EFM are more than simply a group of supporters of a non-league football club.

EFM are a close-knit, like-minded group of friends. Music. Alcohol. Women. Yoga. All principle interests.

The letters EFM stand for England's First Martyr, who was indeed St Alban himself. The Roman Soldier after whom our home city is named was not only beheaded for defending Christians, but was also the greatest drinker in the world during the third century.

EFM's philosophy on an away match day is simple. Have a few drinks, get on a train and have a damn good sing. Their humour is legendary among opposition supporters who admire the spirit of EFM.

Amongst the ranks is DJ Sniffer Thorns, whose forthcoming music television show will attract a potential 8m viewers. Colin Zeal, an alcoholic, failed singer-songwriter. The Hooded Man, whose speciality is a knowledge of council estates far and wide. Big George - the King of the Roulette Wheel. And Costello - the man who started it all and leader of the pack.

Honourary members include Chas and Dave, Her Majesty The Queen, Sir Gazza Gascoigne and American Soccer legend Beckett Hollenbach.

In 2001, EFM formed a football team and entered the local Sunday league. This would not have been possible were it not for the kind generosity of Lee Harding who helped us out by supplying two complete football kits, corner flags, goal-nets and more than a little moral support. We wish him every luck at Braintree Town.

People say EFM don't play by the rules Guilty. Get a new rule book.

We follow our club home and away.

We sing when nobody else does.

We love St Albans through and through.

We're here to stay.

Also on the laminated covering it had,

Match Sponsors the one and only EFM.

You know that covering that any liquids spilt over it can be cleaned up, like sick, must of been handy for your trip home.

Did you get those presentation plaques lee gave you home in one piece, in a frame a copy of the prog front cover and your EFM page.
