With no 1st team game till we meet you on Saturday 21st Feb and only a reserve team game V Canvey Island on Tuesday to look forward to this mid week, thoughts have already turned to our Visit to Upminster.

I see from the Thamesside Trophy game V Southend Manor that Tony Maynard has played for your Reserve or U18 team.

Is Tony Maynard likely to feature in the 1st team V Iron?

I see your trophy and other cup results have been impressive, but maybe if you have your mind on other matters like a run in a cup, we can take full advantage and gain something.

Looking forward to your visit Mark, must say that our little trip up there in November was one of my favourite away trips of the season. Not only the result, but you've got a nice ground and clubhouse and the fact that we could stand and watch the game with beer in hand, I was out my face by the end of the game!!! A bloke i work with, Ted Taylor has a son who played for you it was about 2 seasons ago, he was playing for your Reserves mainly but when you got all your high profile players in, he was pushed out. I understand he now plays for a Sunday side. Do you recall him?
