Fruitbat who do you support ETFC or Cheshunt? or just local football.

 

That certificate was quality mate, sando took plenty of stick.

 

The rumour at training is that if you turn up to watch a local side at home then you have made it in local non league football!!!! I think that is our main aim for this season to get you over to a home game!

 

You said you would not be popular but everyone just thinks its good humoured banter! do you remember last season when we drew 1-1 at etfc and our left back was taking a free kick in our half, you screamed just as he was about to take it and he slipped over! that still gets a mention when ever he gets out of his pram!

I have to agree with there Mr P, once Fruitbat has made an appearance at a home game for the Abbey, you will truly be known as a legend within the non-league circuit!!

 

Plus i think i believe i speak on behalf on the Abbey players you will be more than welcome

Rgarding Mr Bat, his loyalties are as follows:

 

1.Everton.

2.Enfield Town.

3.Cheshunt.

 

Although i could see the Abbey becoming No4 on his hit list.

well it would do him no harm in supporting the Abbey now and then!! I hope that he will take a keen interest in us now, look out for our results etc!!

 

How about yourself?? you are more that welcome to come and watch a few games at the abbey, you and Fruitbat could come together!! trust me once you have tasted a Abbey Burger you'll be hooked, as long!!

well if you recall previous posts Mr Bat Slated our number 11 by saying he was ugly, i have been informed by Mr P (pinnacle) that Mr Bat designed a state of the art certficate for Sando (number 11) congratulating him on being the ugliest player in the ESL (a bit harsh i thought)

 

So it seems only fair for him to do the presentation, bubbles is more than welcome to accompany him

I believe the banter between Sando and fruitbat started in the cup game last week.

 

When Sando was leaving the pitch after being subbed,Fruitbat shouted something out.

 

And Sando replied with ....'keep-up the diet'.

 

To which Fruitbat replied.... 'keep taking the ugly pills'

 

 

Once a player bits back and exchances pleasenties with fruitbat,he's like a dog with a bone.

 

I once remember when EFC beat Woking 6-0 in a friendly,and Fruitbat gave Lawrence Batty in goal,such a hard time that the poor lad was nearly in tears by the end of the game.(I think Woking complained to the F.A about him.)

 

Fruitbat used to rip Andy D'urso to shreds on many occasion when he reffed EFC in the ryman.....Aparently,there's a rumour that he asked not to ref EFC again after taking a particually vicious bararge from fruitbat.

Excellent thread; mentioning Mr D'Urso and Woking reminds me of the FA Trophy game at Southbury Road when the said referee sent off Jimmy Carstairs. Think Enfield went on to lose the replay.

 

I'm sure Andy D'Urso thinks being surrounded by Man Utd players contesting a decision is nothing compared to Fruitbat giving him a hard time!

I was at the game when that "ref" received the final outburst and one of the funniest things was that it wasn`t even an Enfield game but it was when Enfield and Hayes were going for the title .

We played one night of the final week and Hayes played at Harrow the next night so a large number of E`s went to cheer on Harrow.

We were all standing along the side when the official run out and just ass D`urso went past fruitbat,without noticing him,he let loose with his full might down his ear.D`urso looked like he had been shot by a snipper and the lino`s started laughing.

Just for the record Hayes took the lead and Harrow equalised when Lee Endersby won a penalty for "falling" over in the box deep into injury time.Hayes took the title.

It would have to be a day when ETFC or Cheshunt wern't playing at home AND he wasn't working.

 

He's only made it to the Town about 10 times this season.

 

Maybe you could invite him to your end-of-year presentation.??.
