It's here the BIG ONE. 6 pointer V Saints at home.

 

The one we have been waiting for St.Albans and the EFM boys visiting Cressing Road. The 6 point battle to get in the play offs plus a busy day for the Supporters Club.

1.The EFM boys as Sponsors.

2.Match Day MASCOT.

3.Ian Sharp V Zealster - Shoot for a meal.H/t.

4.Fred Root our guest for winning the draw for free ticket, and another draw saturday H.t for Harrow.

THIS IS ONE GAME YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS.

Mark. It's not huge. It's not big. It's just another game. I'm sure that Steve Castle and t'lads will be giving the Iron the respect that they deserve. You will be recognised as a potential banana skin upon which we could slip in our pursuit of a place in Conference 1 south.

 

I've just paid a brief visit to your Forum. I'm afraid that the level of hysteria left me a little short of the warm and fuzzy feeling that comees in advance of big games. Do you think that you could break with tradition and wear your flag?

 

Who is 'Iron Webbo', by the way.?

Of course 'we' are taking this one seriously, Rob. 'We' take them all seriously.

 

'We' are not going to be diverted by a cruise for 4 around the South of France in the huge casino thingy, the presentation to Mr Fred Root the winner of their draw, [that name rings a bell. Didn't he win something at our place a couple of years back?], the win a lunch thing, the EFM drink all you can for £25 match sponsorship [they'll lose money on that one, all right. Ho Ho Ho] etc. etc. We are there for all 3 points.

 

Now Rob. Don't give me all this 'If' stuff.

 

It's time to get mean. No more Mr Nice Guy. I'm bringing a dozen live chickens so that t'lads can bite their heads off in the changing room before the game. Culverhouse and Parratt are nice guys but if I see any of our lot even thinking of talking to any their lot before the game, I shall recommend that they give up their Club Ferraris for at least a month.

 

I've decided that this one should be elevated to HUGE status.

Clearly, the biting the heads off live chickens at 2.55 had the desired affect. T'lads weren't taking prisoners in the first half. I don't know what happened at half-time as the Iron scored 2 in the first 10 minutes of the second half. I'll ask Steve Castle what he did with the entrails.

 

No more Mr Nice Guy.
