Enfield Fc was taken over 10 years ago as a 'rich man's toy' and look where it's got them.

 

There's a chance Letyon will share the same fate when their sugardaddy gets bored,or gets tied of pumping in money hand over fist.

 

Enfield fc lost 90% of their supporters in that time....If the same happened to Leyton,that would leave them with about 10 supporters in a few years.

 

 

ETFC is being built on solid foundations (ie..big fan base and loads of committee members and volunteer's)....relying on one man for your future,is a dangerous game.

Couldn't agree more!

NO CLUB whatever the size should be 'controlled' by one man.

By definition it should have a chairman, treasurer and secretary and then (hopefully) members.

If a limited company then the situation should never arise as there is a board (and possibly shareholders) - unfortunately, as history shows it doesn't aways help....

I wonder how Chelsea would cope if wotshisname pulled out? All those expensive contracts - the mind boggles!
