So after last night you and us can both achieve the same maximun points.

 

What happens now:

 

Enfield - Reasonable run in should still be there or there abouts but I suspect they need to get a bit more ruthless

 

Romford - Have two home games coming up that should give 6 points, then a champions league type battle with Sawbo, Ilford, and Concord twice. We also have a game away at Burnham (who appear to be leaking goals for fun at present). Could go either way in our case. Keep in the race or fall by the wayside. Must win next two.

 

Ilford - If they win the lot they are champs but have a very dodgy run in.

 

Concord - Haven't seen this lot play yet this season, I get the impression they flatter to deceive. If they play to their potential, should be there or therabouts.

 

Sawbo - Always strong and organised. Good dark horse

 

Abbey - Don't rule them out if evrybody above them is inconsistent.

 

Bas - Think they have too much to do.

 

It's going to be very interesting.

I still believe that ETFC have a chance to win it....although it will be difficult...

We need to start winning urgently and hope that the other top of the table bashes all end in draws. However, it's not over until the fat lady sings so I'll make sure Mrs Happy doesn't start singing!

Looking at the March fixtures ETFC do have a reasonable run.....whilst Ilford for example have to play Eton Manor away....Basildon away.....Concord away....Romford and Barkingsie at home....

So there is still a good chance for ETFC and the chasing pack.

Forget the fixtures on paper.

 

ETFC have no chance of winning anything.

No defence

no middlefield

Forwards who have no idea how to shoot (except Billy)

 

I will be amazed if ETFC finish in the top 5.

 

From March onwards, when everyone will see that it is over, we need to start building for next season.

 

BTW I saw Concord turn Burnham over 4-0; very flattering, could easily have been 2-2

 

Reckon it's Ilford's title and promotion.
