Apparently a Canvey supporter said to one of our crowd before the game last night that all they needed to do was win and they've won the League.

Well...they might take a bit of catching up but it's not quite "in the bag" just yet.

They'll need to improve on Saturday's and last night's performances to win it.

[Mind you, they're minds are on Saturday's cup match!]

Couldn't make it to the game last night but apparently we were pretty average. Not over yet but if we beat Carshalton next Saturday it would be very difficult to see us losing it.

Hmm, can't remember the last time we lost a game in the league, oh yes it was in September! I'm in no panic because we drew with a bunch of pikey rejects. As my post said it's far from over and you've got the games in hand but you still need to win them. Can't afford any slip ups.

 

Good luck Saturday. As a prior engagement has forced me to miss our game at Stalybridge I'll be down the Stadium watching the Urchins hopefully dump Cloughie's boys out of the Trophy.

I went to The Pikies v The....actually what's pikier than a pikey ?.

 

Both teams looked no better than us the only bright spark Grays have is the pace of Leroy, but he can't run with the ball only after it annd they always just try and play the ball over the top. Canvey decided to play long ball aswell for seventy minutes out of the ninety, without Lee Boylan who was "rested" they didn't look like a side who has rapped it up !

Yeah...Good shout Urchino! Leroy was quality. Strong, fast, loadsa skill. Sleeves rolled up all night.

In My opinin the bar was alright, oe of their bar staff had a right go at an 8 year old kid for banging the pool-table to get the balls out(and they had the cheek to call our stewards heavy handed).

 

I went in the Seating area in the first half and i gotta say that the view was pretty bad it was like being in Warsaw so many poles in the way.
