Announced for 25/26 yesterday by Josh as Henry Ochieng.

Great player and seems like a leader in a similar vain to Josh. Not the most vocal on the pitch but certainly is a top end performer. Another good addition to the squad for next year so nothing but positives behind that one.

Another good 'retention' to the squad.

As far as we know that makes 3 in Henry, Pruti and Roth?

More 'retentions' should be announced in the coming weeks and crucially much needed new signings to improve the squad on this seasons bottom half finish.

Don't forget we have Scott and the young lad Makambu as well RR.

Was also interesting to hear from Scott's interview yesterday that we will be having 7 subs next season. Must have missed the league announcement on that one but will be a good opportunity to continue to use the young players and possibly find some gems.

I think it’s a good in that it’ll allow us to ‘blood’ some more EDS lads even if it gives them just first team matchday environment experience. I think we’ll sign 2 or 3 EDS lads for the first team and hopefully they can show their true potential with us.

Will we have to extend the dugouts?

Yes they’re currently building another row on top of the roof.

Not sure about Makambu.

Yes he's signed a contract but hasn't appeared lately in the squad so looks likely he's one for the future and will go out on a dual reg.

One way or another these youngsters will only progress if they get sufficient game time and not just make up the numbers in the bench.

Agree Glen. To be fair, I think Aaron White and Ben Nelson have looked very promising in their games over the last few matches and could be 2 for the future. Timberlake looks lively everytime he comes on but probably needs to play a season at Step 3/4 and start scoring goals to make any real impact.

The future looks bright IMO with these young lads and hopefully they can provide a good supporting role to a strong 1st team squad.

I thought Nelson was excellent yesterday. A contender for player of the match. I assume he was replaced having taken a knock
