Result was to be expected and we are understandably second best to full time. It's a great achievement to still be in with a shout on the final day, let's be honest, were down and out before Xmas but this year brought the fight back and what a shift they've put in!! If only we had our defensive back line sorted earlier in the season our GD wouldn't be our Achilles heel. Will have fingers, toes and even eyes crossed that whichever way it has to happen we achieve the great escape, as on this year's performances, with a couple of additions in the summer, we can hold our own with most teams now......what a season, what a team, what a club COYT

Good post NBT, I agree. I remember sitting on the coach after conceding the gut-wrenching, injury-time equaliser at Weymouth thinking that was it, we were done and dusted. The whole team have done superbly since then to put us in with more than a decent chance of staying up. We may not get anything out of the Worthing game but I can't see St. Albans getting the win that they need at Truro - not with the title on the line.
