Who is going down?

Recommended Posts

Now that we are safe for another season (not that it was in doubt), who do you think are being relegated along with Aveley and Weymouth. Realistically it’s two from four: Welling,( probably)  St.Albans, Enfield Town or Salisbury. I hope the boys from Donkey Lane survive, only because I love that name

On today’s showing Welling are going to struggle , how on earth did they beat Worthing? Slough are safe now, still an outside chance of Hampton but you’d have to say it’s between Salisbury Enfield or St Albans with my guess being the latter. No guarantees though it’s a crazy league.

Welling are going down.

Salisbury are 3 points ahead and with 3 of their 4 games against Aveley, Weymouth and Welling they should be safe.

If Enfield draw away to Chelmsford in their next match and then beat St Albans at home and then lose their last two games away to Boreham Wood and home to Worthing,  St Albans would have to beat Eastbourne Borough and Hemel Hempstead and home and finally Truro away to have a chance of staying up.

Alternatively if St Albans beat Enfield away then they will need to get the same points as Enfield to stay up.

After 18 April it will be much clearer but I am going to go for St Albans to join Welling for relegation.
