Now I’m not normally one to comment negatively on the team.  So I won’t.  But am I right that our current strategy is to go one up, (while looking much better than the oppo), then fart about for the remainder of the game waiting for the inevitable equaliser? (Or worse v Slough). Somebody send Daryl on a positive-thinking course.

Mind you, as seasoned Prediction League managers I guess we are all very familiar with the vicissitudes of the job.  Take Marta.   One week she’s riding high atop the Les Walker, heading for a second successive championship.  The next week she scores a big fat zero against Adrian who leapfrogs her into top spot as a result.   

MikeMike got an unexpected win which will actually disappoint him as he was rather proud of his shocking season so far (he’s still bottom mind).  And also spare a thought for Cup of Tea.  After a season of unusual incompetence, even by his high standards, he finally got his act together with the highest score of the day.  Unfortunately so did his opponent – who is equally gutted.
