Pixmore Fields, Spartan SM Div One - Step 6, Attendance 53 (official) & 2 dogs, although my est HC was nearer 70. Admission £6, Programme £1, Strongbow cider £3.50.
Staying close to home today, I've done a lot of trips recently, plus if I walked and used the bus I could have a drink. The rugby club had a game on next door, and a lot of their crowd were dressed in yellow and black. Not the most exciting game, during the first half CU were awarded a free kick from JUST outside the penalty area, the ensuing jostling of a huddle of players took about 5 or 6 minutes before the Referee was happy they were in a rough line for the kick to be taken. The LGC GK did a great save, and went on to make several impressive saves throughout the second half, LGC did not manage to shoot anywhere near on target, even when CU had a player sin binned for 10 minutes later in the game.
There was a very well behaved black German Shepherd, still looking quite fluffy around his face, as he was 10 months old, and he even got his own bowl of water brought outside to him from the Clubhouse.
