back up to third now .. kettering were always going to be the best supported in the league this season but the yellow hordes at hornchurch have given those pesky urchins an over inflated second place.. we were responsible for riccays best crowd of the season and i reckon tuesday night will be grays best crowd as well..

we still have our best home games to come for attendances, i fully expect us to retain our rightful second place in the ave attendance charts

The encouraging thing, is that our three best attendances all over 600 have been against some of the lesser supported teams who have brought little away support (Hayes, Maidenhead and Hendon)

 

We've still to play Kettering, Bedford, Grays, Hornchurch and Billericay and can expect big crowds for those games. Also expect a large crowd for the day we actually seal the title, if it's a game at Park Lane.

 

So our average will hopefully be over 700 come the end of the season.

Of course the thing about the attendances is - who does the counting. Must have been a lot of freebies for the FA cup games

im sure there are a lot of freebies for every game.. im only really talking about the league games on which the averages are based..

you can have an attendance of 900 but if 650 of em are kids for a quid who cares.. apart from the taxman of course

Look on the bright side, next season you will be looking at bumper crowds, and lets hope we get another 4000 at the fleet again .

If you can arrange to have St.Albans away as the game when you clinch the title we'd be happy for the inflated crowd.

Of course you'll then lose and have to wait another week for the inevitable but at least you'll manage it!
