Not a NLS game but Welling have sacked their manager and replaced him with former Premier League player Brian Statham on caretaker duty.

Rod Stringer resigned - the assistant manager has taken over. The statement from the club's owner reads as if they have already been relegated.

I think resigned is the nicest way to put it. To be fair, I still think they have every chance to stay up. A hard run in though.

No, i believe he did actually resign. He wasn't sacked. (Unless you know otherwise).

Tonight's games:
7.45pm    St Albans City    v    Hampton & Richmond Borough
7.45pm    Welling United    v    Hemel Hempstead Town

4 points from the last 10 games shows just how bad a run Hampton are on. If ever St Albans were going to pick up 3 points then surely it has to be tonight? I fancy 2-1 to the Saints.

No shame in the defeat to Worthing at the weekend which ended a run of 8 unbeaten for Hemel. I think there will be goals and maybe even a little 'new manager bounce' for the Wings: prediction 2-2.

Not NLS related, but Reece Beckles Richards and Dylan Adjei have scored against our small little friends down the road C****** tonight.

St Albans 1 - 0 Hampton - H&R commentary suggests the Beavers have been predictably poor with just the one big chance before the break. St Albans should be further ahead.

Welling 0 - 0 Hemel

1-1 get innn Hampton
