Not pretty...in fact down right ugly at times...but a win's a win and I'll take it!

Wasn't pretty but who cares. We dug in and fought for everything, pressed out of possession and got our share of 2nd 3rd balls. The boys showed they wanted it more tonight. Hampton didn't really have many decent shots and the ones they did have were straight at Joe. He had an easy night and that is credit to our much improved defence who work well together now. Mickey is great in midfield with his tenacitious attitude. Deserved MOTM but Chukwu played a blinder too. Great to have Peake back and scoring the winner. Saturday is going to be a much tougher test and I'll concede I don't expect anything as Truro are flying right now. I'm a bit concerned Rhys wasn't back in the sticks tonight but surely he will be back for Truro (though he might be happy to stay out for that and let Joe take the likely battering). He was on a roll before Eastbourne and we need that roll again! Shame Torquay didn't get the win but could have been worse. COYT we've got this!!

Joe’s on a roll as well. Decisions, decisions. Who would be a manager?

I won’t be surprised if Joe keeps his place for Saturday. The defence is looking more confident at the moment and It may be wiser to keep things settled for now. Not a criticism of Rhys at all but all about team consistency and confidence. Let’s see.
