Neck ache

On paper it was going to be a good game it was far from that, both sides guilty of pumping it in the air.Only moments that got the blood racing was the Stones hitting the bar and our breakaway at the end if only a bit of finessed but sadly that was the story of the game.Scotty mom, martialed the defence superbly,up the Urchins

Missed the first half but the second half the ball did appear to be in the air quite a bit - I think both teams would have preferred it on the ground a bit more. Their no 9 was rapid but there did seem to be an over-reliance on him. They had chances notably when the woodwork aided us and we had shots either off target or straight at the keeper. Would have taken a point before kick-off so quite pleased. Nathan Bertram-Cooper my mom. Well played all massive support from the away fans COYU

Pitch was very bumpy, nearby Maidstone fan said very early on that this was destined for 0-0 in view of the difficulty in playing any passing football.

The state of the pitch (wet or dry) does seem to be mentioned in most match reports on away websites regardless of the result.
