A groundhopper from another Forum was at Chalk Lane:

Arrived 10 minutes in with it still 0-0. Fosters had more of the pressure before falling behind to a 15-yard shot in off the post on 30. An excellent equaliser, from the right hand edge of the box into the far top corner, followed on 51 with Potton getting another on 54 after Fosters lost possession in midfield and missed another chance to clear. It was 2-2 on 64 with a low shot from the left hand edge of the box past the keeper. Fosters No 6, who had impressed me, got a red for a 'last man' foul on 84 and Fosters were reduced to 9 on 88 for a 'sin bin' offence. They held out comfortably for the draw though.

United used one of their get out of jail cards as they scored deep into injury time, to give themselves a huge point at home to Totternhoe. In a game devoid of many chances United never really got going and the third placed visitors dominated for long periods but United's defence is not the second best in the League for no reason and they kept the visitors at bay. However it was a rare defensive error that cost the Bulls on 63 minutes when a hopefully ball over the top saw confusion between Martin and Gauge and the resulting poor clearance found Gibson who scored from 25 yards. United tried to huff and puff but never really tested the Totternhoe keeper. However when it looked like all was lost a great free kick into the box found the smallest man on the park, Sammy Routs who headed home. Much joy descended on Hall Road as the Bulls managed to scramble a valuable point.
The Bulls now travel to top of the league New Bradwell St Peter for a huge game, kick off 7:45pm.
