I am sure he would have come on for his debut had Chelsea not been so rubbish and managed to get a second goal. See how great Chelsea are, they can spend £121 million and still promote players from the non-league into the limelight. They had Scott Fitzgerald on trial last year. You don't see Arsenal or United doing that.

Blackburn were the first team to buy the premiership and chelsea are going to win SFA.

In any event Roman's millions are filtering throughout football and have helped to sustain a transfer "market" which had died on its [****!!****]. As a direct result of Roman's arrival West Ham have avoided administration (or so says Alan Pardew - Manager of that team), Southampton have turned over an operating profit and Charlton have received a ridiculous 8 figure sum for Parker which they can now re-invest at their leisure.

I mean obviously I would have rather he invested in Slough but can understand why he looked elsewhere.
