A lot of coverage from Green Lane, well known groundhopper 'Base Of The Pyramid' was present and Eynesbury United's match report:

https://www.botp.co.uk/blog/baxter-no-bovver?fbclid=IwY2xjawIyboBleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHTEA3nrb8ycCwaaiFAPRpiQI85J1OW5kWOgU_R9YYv27pwAQX1pQiaoyMA_aem_5_5Hl_-DdPa__pH_KSOQTQ

Spartan South Midlands Division Two
Bovingdon (0) 0 Eynesbury United (0) 1 (Ryan Baxter)
A goal five minutes from time from Ryan Baxter gave the Bulls all three points after a hard fought game played on a heavy pitch. In what was a great personal performance for Ryan who had a great old fashioned battle with the Bovingdon centre half Barkers-Obua. Baxter worked his socks off and got his reward when Jake Wood was sent free down the Bovingdon right, his quality cross found Baxter at the far post, and as he took a touch the ball bounced up and he headed the ball over the keeper, producing scenes from Bulls players and supporters alike.
The Bulls are now unbeaten away from home in 10 games - the only side that can boast that in the whole Spartan League. And the victory saw them go 10 straight wins going back to to November when they lost at home to Bovingdon.
The game though started with United having the better of the play but chances were at a premium and they could not get through the Bovingdon defence. A ball through to Baxter saw him race through and he was hauled down by Barkers-Obua, the Referee awarded a free kick and amazingly no yellow card, especially as it seemed Baxter had got clear. Bovingdon had their only chance of the half moments later when a ball over the top caught the Bulls back four out and the dangerous McCarthy was clear, but Dylan Martin was quickly out and made a good save. Bovingdon certainly had the better of the possession for the rest of the half but didn’t trouble the United goal.
The second half was a scrappy affair and for the first thirty minutes Bovingdon had most of the ball, but again never troubled the Bulls goal. However that nearly changed when a good volley which was heading into the corner was somehow clawed away by Martin and cleared for a corner. With 80 minutes on the clock Baxter burst away from Barkers-Obua and was bearing down on goal, Ryan cut across him and the defender clipped his heels and the ref pointed to the spot. A huge chance but regretfully the ever reliable Iwen Jones dragged the penalty wide. Normally this would deflate a side but the Bulls just seemed to grow and then Baxter produced that bit of magic to give the Bulls that all important lead. Elation and relief for the Bulls Management and players and they could have stretched the lead further but Wood and Irvine could not finish their chances.
At full time there was the usual well deserved celebrations but now we move on to next Saturday when we entertain third placed Totternhoe, massive game for the Bulls. Man of the match was Ryan Baxter a monstrous performance.
