Micky and Joe always welcome back to the Bridge albeit on the losing side.We seen to take forever to get going and sloppiness put us a goal behind.Cant complain because we woke up after that and a great team goal expertly put away by Charlie. This time the Towners were caught napping after half time and for the first time In the game we were ahead.A bit frantic after that goalmouth scrambles either end with the game opening up Hornchurch took advantage and a second goal for Darren and a 3rd for the hosts.Enfield are better than their league position suggests, well supported tonight as well made it a bit lively on the Eastside all said and done another 3 points,up the Urchins

I honestly believe that Enfield will stay up, gave us real problems tonight particularly in the first half think the difference in the sides was a bit of extra quality on the ball from us and clinical finishing. Decent game. Great away support as well. Welling lost as well and so did Aveley so it’s not all bad news for Enfield. As for us we are up to 13th and an amazing 2nd in the form league and now have double Aveley’s points this season (46 to 23) COYU

What a great night out!

Albeit that Mickey and Joe had the wrong kit on.

I was surprised by the condition of the pitch considering how much rain we had, well done to the volunteers.

I think we are pretty close to a starting eleven with a very impactive bench.

Pretty even first half, I felt Enfields goal was against the run of play and led to a period of pressure where we had to hang on until we got a deserve equaliser from Charlie Adams, which showed his class, how he placed his shot into the corner. I felt Enfield ran out of puff towards the end of the first half.

Second half and Enfield were caught napping and sneaky goal from DMcQ. We stepped up and gear and I was surprised that it stayed at 2-1 as we had a number of chances.

Big shout out to MT who made a worldy first class save in the second half, when Enfield sprung the trap and were through on goal.

Finally our pressure paid off and a stunning shot from DMcQ passed the outstretched Joe Wright led to the third.

A great team performance and a good three points.

We must be the team of the league to come from behind, no pun intended.
