Never thought the result was in doubt even at 1 nil down I believe in this team,up the Urchins

They didn’t make it easy but just kept working at it and eventually got the deserved win. Great play by everyone well done Hornchurch. 11 points ahead of Enfield who we have next and 20 points ahead of Aveley. COYU

Well done Nathan BC for his 300th appearance, one of my players who stood out today. Chesham's injuries/interuption of play/time wasting, you just could not make it up. Although there was two genuine injuries in amongst it all. Referee's now Mr Conn is another that enters my book of officials to look out for. Now from where we were sat, we are convinced the ball crossed the line twice in the first half and neither were given. I have never in all my years been still playing at 17.10hrs nearly a full hour for the second half.

I never doubted the score line, we were never going to lie down and accept anything but three points. Well done to every single player, Charlie Pegram never stopped and got a deserved goal and Tommy Wood did as exactly as he was asked to do, sealing our three points.

A well deserved result.
