As has been said on the urchinman1961 thread we were really excellent (and very unlucky) down at Torquay, regardless of the result.  As was affirmed by the TU fans we chatted to in the pub afterwards (though it’s easy to be magnanimous when you’ve won!).

So – what of the Prediction League you ask?   Well, they say that the cream eventually rises to the top, and so it is with Marta who is now sitting atop the pile after beating her only credible contender,  Urchin Queen.  Come on chaps, this is an equal opportunities competition, but can you seriously let the ladies win twice in a row?.

But the main talking point is the THREE “sportsmen” – and I use the term loosely – who chose to ignore the zeitgeist and predict a Torquay win.  We can just about excuse Digger who was away on holiday, couldn’t access the site, and requested an alternating 2-1, 1-2, 2-1 etc sequence.  But can we excuse Clive or Mysterious Nick?  I shall leave you to decide, but as they both lost (take that!) I think Karma has been the winner in this fiesta of slightly foreign words.

As a one-off special treat, I note below Sir Colin's predictions which he has presented unusually early.  Bear in mind he announces the crowd so I would take special note of that - but ignore the rest!
