Hope Sam is fit tonight...very hard to replace if he s not    will be interesting to see how we line up if he isnt fit.

Going on one of the slogh fans comments I hope we can play to our strengths and avoid playing against their big mens strengths.

Think we ll go in with some confidence and hope the Towner fans get right behind them from the start.

Feel our back 3 should be very busy and our two wide men will have to put a real shift in.     Think Charlie and Billy have been superb recently too.

From what others have said I would be very surprised if Sam were risked tonight. A tight hamstring is one thing, but a proper tear of any kind could see him out for weeks. Whilst I've not completely given up hope, I don't expect us to get anything from tonight. You never know though!

  • Tally Ho changed the title to Enfield Town 0-5 Eastbourne Borough

Was thinking that goal difference doesn't matter that much, but having checked, we were pretty comparable to Welling before today... I wasn't at the game, so can't comment, but my sources say they were stronger and more physical in every department and well worth the win. Hopefully we just chalk this one off as a bad day at the office and a better side winning, and have the right reaction next few games.

Was wondering whether the full time sides are at more of an advantage for midweek games, as many of our team would have done a full day's work before playing. Saturday games are at least more of a level playing field in that respect.

That's true full time sides will always have that advantage and we can't be too disappointed when beaten by them. We need to do the double against Tonbridge though and hope that Chippenham and Boreham Wood get results for us to open a little gap. If Worthing get back on track then we could be just a point behind Salisbury after Saturday 🤞
