There was an interesting post on another Forum indeed it 'triggered' quite a lenghty thread still being discussed, it does seem like Non League Day was a bit of a 'damp squib' this year:

I used to see a lot of clubs popping up announcing plans and specials for Non League Day, sometimes 2 weeks before the day and there seemed to be a lot of enthusiasm around it.
Over the last couple of years I haven't seen as many Club's announcing anything for it and some clubs have only mentioned it after being asked by their own fans 3 or 4 days before the actual day.
Has the novelty of it worn off?
I was also wondering if anyone who supports a non league team recalls seeing a biggish attendance increase for a Non League Day game? and, if so, were the home team in the top half of the table at the time?
