Sarratt v New Bradwell St Peter (kick off 2.00pm)

New Bradwell St Peter only won the reverse fixture at the Recreation Ground 2-1 just before Christmas so three points aren't a foregone conclusion at the King George V Playing Fields:

Eynesbury United's summary of events:

Spartan South Midlands Division 2
Eynesbury Utd (2) 3 MK Irish (1) 1 (McLeod, Baxter, Palmer)
The Bulls made it eight straight wins after a dogged 3-1 win at home to MK Irish Reserves. This moved the Bulls into second place, just two points behind the current leaders New Bradwell St Peter.
Both sides started brightly with MK trying to get at the Bulls back four - but they could find no way past Martin in the United goal.
The first real chance of the game for the Bulls was from a corner - the ball bounced around and fell to Iwen Jones whose volley flicked off McLeod to give the Bulls the lead.
MK didn’t roll over though and their midfield and front three were always in the game, on 25 minutes a great ball from the impressive Brad Brown saw Baxter race clear, the keeper advanced and Baxter lifted the ball over him but the ball hit the underside of the bar and the rebound cleared.
United continued to have most of the play and finally extended their lead when man of the match Baxter beat the MK right back and blasted the ball past the keeper.
Two up and now well on top and managing the game - but just before half time the Bulls fell asleep and a great ball in saw Dummett reduce the Bulls lead with a good header - 2-1.
Again both sides came out battling in the second half. MK were on top and could have equalised when a header from Brito somehow missed. Minutes later a rasping shot had Martin scrambling but it went thankfully into the side netting. From a corner the Bulls should have extended their lead - Chris Newton recovered a clearance, played a great one two with McLeod, but fluffed his lines from five yards out and shanked it wide. United’s other centre half then had a great chance but missed a header from just under the bar. United were getting nervous and needed that third goal and it finally came when Baxter got to the MK by-line - centred a great ball and Archie Palmer shot home to give the Bulls all three points.
A huge win and with a tough away day at Caddington AFC next Saturday - the Bulls are growing in confidence with every game. Man of the match Ryan Baxter - though Sammy Routs pushed him close.
