Great win, keeps the wolves from the doors and stops that horrendous run we had. With easy St Albans next nothing less than a thrashing will do…

Maidstone match report now on their. Site no complaints really

Great game to watch. Highly competitive. Well done to Scott, the management and the team, this result was well overdue. Thought the ref had a good game as well, let the game flow and only gave out cards where necessary; more to the point neither team could say he favoured the other side. Good to see us finally get 3 points.

Great team effort today, we left nothing on the pitch, gave it our all , felt we were solid defensively,  sounds so good to say, we battled till the end. Keep this group together playing like we did today and I hope for a strong end to the season, scenes at the end , happy Saturday vibes.

What a total team performance that was!!! I think in the last 3 games our performances have markedly improved game to game capped off today with a result.

Can't fault anyone today in any way, thought the standouts were Pruti (100% deserved MoM), Bayliss, Miccio (what a player we have there) and Jackman (we'll come to the boss in a minute). All of them did there jobs faultlessly and made a good Maidstone attack and team look average at best.

The midfield and attack worked their socks off to defend from the front and whilst we didn't get much change going forward, we certainly created more than Maidatone.

Davies- 9/10 - thought he was brilliant and only got done once with a very good turn in the first half by one of the best attackers in the league. Headed everything and didn't "muck about". Cleared his lines and was as much of a star in the defence as the rest.

Was good to see Temi back and being successful in a team HOWEVER, how he didn't get booked in the first half for any of - a dive (don't remember that in his game with us), kicking the ball away or the foul on Slavi stopping a counter attack (which Henry was booked for in the second half) is beyond me. As good as he was, wouldn't have swapped him for Pruti or Bayliss yesterday.

All in all a fantastic result and one that the recent performances have deserved. With Hollis to come back into the fold as well, hopefully the end of the season will be one of continued defensive strength and better results. Roll on Tuesday night.

Tense and even first half where both sides had chances to score with the ball fizzing across both penalty areas.

I thought we stepped up a gear in the second half taking the game to Maidstone and thoroughly deserved to take the lead from an excellent Gilbs corner and a thunderous unstoppable header from Pruti.

Can't argue with Pruti as motm but for his comeback from injury I thought Bayliss had a stormer at the back.

Overall a thoroughly good performance and deserved win.

Have to give a mention to the ref.

The vast majority if not all refs have been pretty poor, bordering on criminal this season but I have to give credit to yesterdays ref who I thought was top notch in his handling of the game and the best I've seen at this level for a long time.
