Lets be clear: every other match since October has been labelled a 'must win'. At the moment the teams producing the best performances seem to be those either at the very top of the league or at the bottom, with those in mid-table already on the beach. Hoping for no more than that we keep fighting and maybe get a bit of luck!

Gav signing another forward who’s barely been playing and hasn’t scored for months so he can spend the next 4 weeks getting up to speed before Gav rolls the dice on the next one who’s not getting a game elsewhere.

Stick with Chuks and Jake, they at least worked their nuts off and looked like a partnership.

Bates I’ve seen a little of. Very technically good and similar in type to Tuck….exactly what we DONT need right now. 

We’ve looked more solid defensively and more a threat going forward quicker by being a little more basic since Tuck left. Last thing we need is a Worthing type tippy tappy footballer who doesnt realise we’re in a dog fight.

Kasimu rejoining is good news. I know he didn’t stay long but for me he has been the best of all the strikers we have worked our way through. The up front rotating door shows no sign of stopping 🤭

Should add that I hope that Chukwu stays. He looks like the type of player that Jon Nurse could improve significantly.

Can't be there today but this is really a must win!!

Get 6 points from these next 2 and we are within touching distance of Welling - would prefer St Albans to beat them today as we just need to focus on getting to 5th bottom ...

I was annoyed that Hish walked out on us - but agree this is an improvement to the squad - I would expect him to come straight in and partner Hutch (but I think Chuks should be given the chance to start vs hiss old club on Tuesday)..

Bates I would start on the bench as Parcell - Brown - Youngs works -  - assuming BB is fit after his shoulder injury. He says he scores goals so hopefully he can be a useful impact sub today and fight his way into the team - has felt like it largely picks itself for the last few weeks so good to have real options on the bench that we are happy to use.

Assuming Thompson is available (hope his family issues are resolved) then I would like to see Stallard keep the wing back position and Payne drop to the bench. Oyenuga had a blinder on his return last week so I think keeps his place.

Think I'll be opting for my 0-1 to the Town prediction - but wouldn't it be great for confidence if we smashed in a few with an encouraging victory!!

Bates has replaced Oyenuga for the second half. :eyebrowsup:
