Let's be honest we were chasing shadows after the early sending off of Scotty and no argument there,but we never know when we're done and a deserved equaliser ensued,proud of these boys,up the Urchins

Ok, So I waited a few hours to calm down after that shocker, but not what you think!

Before kick off one of our players described the pitch as terrible, so we play three at the back, the ping pong aerial tennis begins and before long it is obvious that we won't get anything from this ref. First warning sign.

Salisbury are pressing high catch us on the break and their player goes down, Yellow for Gibbo??????? what for I ask myself, second warning sign! 

The the inevitable same play again, their player is through and Ryan is shoulder to shoulder with the player who goes down, whistle goes and Ryan does not even have to think before he is walking towards has been hill. We should have seen the warning signs and adapted long before the sending off. Injury to Ollie and subs were brought on to steady the ship. 

We hold on, then the inevitable Salisbury press led to a through ball, player was a yard off at least, from where I was sat, but the linos flag stayed down, squares it and a tap in makes it one nil down. Furious and spitting feathers to say the least.

The good lady is going "calm down".

Second half and we change to 4-4-1 , we steady the ship and deal with the Salisbury press. Some fabulous saves from MT by the way and then there was the MT yellow card, which is another reffing mystery to anyone on this planet.

Final fifteen and Nashy and Darren are brought on for a do or die last go. We finally got some width down the channels and balls sent in and a corner was won, second phase of the corner and Darren grabs that goalmouth scramble and sticks it in the net. 

Home fans go wild and Salisbury are left scratching their heads. 

This was a great performance by ten men, for 60 mins against twelve men including the man in black. Our pitch is poor and it has not even been raining. MT made some outstanding saves, but well done to all.

Won't grumble about the point but even before the sending off we seemed well off our game. 

Nash on the bench again along with Manny was questionable. Oh how I'd love to turn up and see Scans being played in his actual position?

Gibbs forcing 40 yard cross field passes which are never on is another thing we seem to enjoy doing lately. We had 3 midfielders starting who should be screaming for the ball but yet we opt to smash it long.

I'd love to come away from a game and post something positive but from the performances I've witnessed recently we seemed to be regressing.

I will say well done for going till the end however. So not all bad 😅

Pleased with a point after the start. I didn’t have the best angle to see the offside for their goal , other people thought it was offside so I will take their word for it. Would like to see Nash get a bit more game time but the manager must have his reasons. Great battling performance after playing with 10 men for most of the game. Didn’t see the sending off either but Ryan didn’t hang around so assume it was valid. Hoping it’s a 1 match ban rather than 3 as we need him. Think we need a win from somewhere just to kick start the rest of the season but confident in this squad. Henry Hearn was my mom. COYU

Edit: Realised our league comes under category 3 but the suspension is the same but a £20 fine is also levied.
