Disappointingly just one SSML Club still standing in the FA Vase Fourth Round this weekend, albeit one more than last season, good luck to London Lions:

It's a tough assignment for London Lions at Egham Town who sit in second place in the very competitive Combined Counties League Premier Division North, one point behind former SSML Club Amersham Town. The hosts have reached the Fourth Round of the competition three times previously, in 1984/85, 2021/22 and 2022/23 but no further, London Lions were beaten 6-0 at Coventry Sphinx in their only Fourth Round appearance in 2021/22:

The still regionalised draw for the Fifth Round of the FA Vase will take place later today (Monday 13 January), watch this space for details, the weather unfortunately put paid to the majority of the Fourth Round ties last Saturday including Egham Town v London Lions which will now be played on this coming Saturday (18 January):

The draw for the Fifth Round of the FA Vase sees London Lions travel to Combined Counties League Premier Division South AFC Whyteleafe should they beat Egham Town next Saturday:

And then there were none, disappointingly no further SSML interest in the FA Vase this season following London Lions 3-1 defeat at Combined Counties League Premier Division North Egham Town:

Albeit through gritted teeth, London Lions will be wishing Egham Town good luck in their Fifth Round tie on Saturday (1 February) at Combined Counties League Premier Division South AFC Whyteleafe. It is 'unknown territory' in the FA Vase for both Club's as would have been the case for London Lions had they got through:
