Tough game this one against one of the top sides in NLN.

Weather looks bad from about 4PM onwards in the West Midlands on Saturday, so

hopefully we should be ok

Kidderminster have had pitch covers down since yesterday plus heat lamps on. Really in 2 minds now whether to go (especially as I’d be going by train) as the forecast doesn’t look great and I can see it being postponed late.

The forecast is for about 3 degrees but no snow etc until about 5/6 onwards. 

So game should be over before the snow turns up.

a 5-1 drumming on Wednesday, a 4-0 drumming today. A fantastic way to start 2025.

Still it sounds like we were superb for the first 15 minutes, the game could've gone either way until then.

On a positive note both teams using up a game in hand  who could have gone ahead of us in the league had they won  failed to do so so we cling on to 11th place.

We have to go back 9 games since our last league win Our only other win since then was the cup game against Maidenhead It's not a couple of losses that's concerning imo it's consistent poor form  also I'm concerned that the arrival of the cold heavy wet weather pitches of winter may indicate we've a few fair weather players.

But now 9 points off 7th! With a tough set of fixtures coming up even the most optimistic won’t fancy our chances of closing that gap.

York, Barnet & Gateshead all lost today, which leaves the competition very open…. it will be interesting to see how far Kidderminster, Worthing & Boreham Wood from our level progress.

RR it was Scott's stated intention at the start of the season to aim for the playoffs  repeated several times since  I don't recall any member suggesting promotion was possible ! Winning isn't  everything but losing isn't anything!
