Tring Athletic will have no qualms about rubbing salt into Harpenden Town's gaping wounds at the moment having exited the FA Vase and SSML Premier Division Cup in the last week:

Will lose a few to the rain.

Winslow Boy - Well there have been no games called off thus far today, it hasn't even rained much recently. Good luck to Winslow United this afternoon at London Lions, it's impressive how they have held their own so well in the Premier Division this season under Manager Alex Woodfine.

I spoke too soon and Aylesbury Vale Dynamos v Kempston Rovers is postponed although that's no surprise is it:

More rain last night and more rain to come has meant the pitch is just too wet and soggy to get the game on. Good luck to our 23s who travel to at Eversley California FC Reserves.

Been quite damp where I am, great if they are all on. Yeah solid season Woody has certainly exceeded expectations so far. Loved playing at Lions, lovely facility there.

A groundhopper from another Forum was at this thriller. Also see Stony Stratford Town's match report:

Stony Stratford Town 3-4 Pitstone & Ivinghoe - Spartan South Midlands League Division 2
This afternoon is a chilly one at Ostlers Lane, a damp spot in a bend in the Great Ouse as it meanders its way through far north Bucks and on into Northants. Stony’s line-up is weakened by pre-Christmas absences and inside 10 minutes they go 2-0 down to a Pitstone & Ivinghoe side not needing to be at their best. The home side pull one back with their only chance of the opening period, but are 4-1 down at the break; as the floodlights come on, the mood among Stony supporters is listless.
P&I manage the early stages of the second half to good effect, but two goals in seven minutes from the hosts’ very own Jack Grealish-wannabe set up an exciting last 20 minutes… or at least, they had the potential to be exciting but in fact, a red card for the visitors aside, the match rather peters out, Stony not good enough to raise their game. Despite the seven goals, it was all pretty subdued and spectators soon sloped off for beer or dinner.
