Eastbourne Borough 1 Hx 1

Recommended Posts

What a fantastic rearguard performance from the Urchins. A lot of pressure from Eastbourne today and for the most part, the defence stood firm. Fantastic save from Mason Terry, arguably the man of the match, Liam just refused to stop chasing which really helped and the hitman put away a really good finish (I thought he’d overdone it but I should have known better, he knew what he was doing!) . Ref missed a lot today and that didn’t help us one bit.  Goal for them did come and they did deserve it, there was an awful lot of balls across the face of the goal. We looked dangerous on the counter when they committed too much. Great result , really proud of the effort today , definitely a point gained. COYU

Totally unbiased report from the Non League paper (Eastbourne edition)

Obviously the reporter had a birds eye view of the incidents mentioned in his report. I'm suprised they are not running away the league instead of dropping out of the Playoff positions.

Just read it , strangely no mention of the rugby tackle their defender did on Henry Hearn in the box from a corner or the fouls they got away with or the 5 yellow cards they picked up.
