I might be right in saying attendances pre xmas are always disappointing so no real surprise it was below 700.

As for Jackman well someone did say they thought he might have picked up an injury in our last game but could easily be his annual xmas time off.

Pre Xmas attendances are usually lower for obvious reasons but I was still disappointed it was that low and would have hoped after our Trophy win we’d get 750+. Did our other 800 fans from last Saturday all have other things to do? Got to feel gutted for the board when they put a lot of hard work in promoting the club, making big improvements to the ground and loads of great work in the community to then see these low crowds turn out. Hopefully we’ll see around 1,500 for Boxing Day (guessing that might be segregated too as Chesham may well bring 300+).

I think we still have a lot of supporters that will pick and choose their games.

There could be a lot of factors at play that include Salisbury not being a big draw, xmas shopping/extra expense and of course people are still feeling the rise in prices in the shops.

I just wouldn’t expect to lose 800 home fans in a week especially after a big local derby win. Just disappointed I guess, understand the reasons but it seems other clubs see their crowds rise but we always struggle to get our average near that 1,000 figure.

I've just listened again and it's loud and clear for me.

Damn it… just like most things in my life! 😆

I could understand if they were interviewing in the toilets as the interviewer sounds very echoey like he’s on the bog!

I didn't realize the interviews were done in the Gym.

Segregation for 1500 people? What has the game come to, we've had regular 1200-1500 crowds at the back end of last season and then Torquay, Yeovil and others early this season, plus the 3000 and 4000 in the last few years FA Cup runs with no segregation required.

Step 2 should still see segregation only when theirs been a history of trouble OR places like Torquay at Plainmoor where it's just historical for the size club they are. Boreham Wood and Dorking segregating most weeks by default is a joke by two billy big b******s clubs

The club has intel on the likes of you hence the massive ring of steel required for this fixture.

Soap. Just to balance things out, whenever I've been in those Gents it is noticeable how many men and boys don't bother to wash their hands afterwards 🤢

Or those who think that a cursory rinse is enough

But they wouldn't have been able to even if they'd wanted to; the club will surely be at risk of breaking the law if this continues (and it isn't the first time it's happened this season).

To improve our crowds we have to improve our facilities but also our performances and success on the pitch will largely dictate our attendances going up to the 'magical' 1,000+ average.

Even just before Christmas a crowd of 661 (with decent travelling support) is certainly alarming. I wouldn't say we're struggling at the moment so maybe there's another reason?

I couldn't agree more.

I don't understand why last week vs Maidenhead was segregated or why the Chesham match should be (seeing as they weren't when we were in the Southern League). Do Maidenhead or Chesham have a reputation for hooliganism?

RR I hate to quibble, but how do we know it's a lower-half budget when we don't know what the budget is?

We can only go by what Scott Davies says and I'm pretty sure he's always maintained that we have a lower end budget for this division.

Besides what else could be the reason for having a small squad despite us being in and around the play-offs and Scott maintaining that the squad won't be strengthened despite us having a threadbare defence?

I think Boreham Wood have been announcing games that aren't being segregated.

They have but they wait until a day before to announce or confirm it.

At which point those who decided not to potentially get soaked on an uncovered terrace with no hot food or access to a bar can't change the other plans they made instead of attending

Boreham Woods attendance on Sat was lower than ours.
