Windsor Rebel. I should have said another poor home result  I think some don't realise our recent results Since 1st Sept we've won just 4 league games drawn 5 and lost 6   !! Do you think that's OK?

I think you might be worrying a little to much at this point.

With the 17 points from 15 games since September 1st, that gives 1.133 points per game.  There are 6 teams on worse than that for their season average points per game.

If you include the 15 points pre Sept 1st, and the 17 points after that date gained, we could continue at 1.133 points per game for the rest of the season and still end up on around 60 points for the season, well away from relegation and around 14th 15th place.

So considering the poor budget Scott is having to work with, the team are putting enough points on the board.

Lots talk about poor budget  but do they know what it is? There's  no shortage of money being spent on vanity projects at Arbour Park perhaps we want to become the next Dulwich Hamlet! As you say 15 points in the part of August after the season started 17 points in 3 full months + Dec so far  imo we're  going in the wrong direction I hope I'm wrong!

Obviously our budget doesn't stretch to putting hand-soap in the downstairs gents. When I arrived at just gone 2pm, there was hardly any left and what there was was (not for the first time) mostly water.

As for the match, we got away with another iffy performance at home against a struggling side, even though I don't think we deserved to lose. There was nothing wrong with our effort and work-rate, but IMO we look weak at the back, Francis Amartey's inability to make an impact on the match is becoming a concern and we picked up another red card to boot.

A great goal from LCP, and how their no.11 wasn't sent off I don't know.

It was good to see chips for £2 back in the bar; I wonder where they went last week?

Vanity projects??

Give me strength.

Improvements aren't 'vanity projects'.

Yes but are they more important more priority than giving Scott a decent playing budget  Only an attractive successful  team will bring in the sort of crowds we need

Of course it's not ok but it's in line with our squad size, budget and bottom line expectations of staying in this division.

Imo our squad size and expectations are mostly dictated by the cash available to Scott

Another 3pts dropped today at home , as i believe we were capable of taking the full 3pts, but never got going and to be fair Salisbury were the better side and somehow we struck at the death through Leon and grabbed a point , he is our Gerrard, but we also have another suspension coming ,  another poor display of officiating , how did they not get a red card, disappointing attendance, other than the trophy game against Maidenhead,  has Fortress Arbour park lost its sting ? Where was Jackman today? , hope Scotty has some magic up his sleeve....in Scott we trust

I might be right in saying attendances pre xmas are always disappointing so no real surprise it was below 700.

As for Jackman well someone did say they thought he might have picked up an injury in our last game but could easily be his annual xmas time off.

No one knows what our budget is but we do know it's a lower half one.

The improvements are to produce more income to hopefully push the club forward.

If we are going in the wrong direction i.e. towards mid table and below it's no more than what's to be expected.

Soap. Just to balance things out, whenever I've been in those Gents it is noticeable how many men and boys don't bother to wash their hands afterwards 🤢

Only one hand dryer and no paper towels so it is just as well or the queue would be extremely long.

I think we all know, or should know how difficult it is to break down a side that sets out to defend with a low block.

That aside we didn't play well in the first half and were guilty of continually giving the ball away which eventually led to their goal which ended up as an intended cross that took a slight deflection.

With both Amartey and Oggy ineffective and predictable down the flanks it was the right decision to change things at half time bringing on Roth, Abisogun and Goddard.

With these changes we did improve camping in their half but again without the end product to break them down until Leon stepped up with our first really decent effort on goal.

As someone has said we can't play well every week and often our poorer performances have come after a big game and performance like the Maidenhead one.

On the sending off Coppin should have received a red card for a disgraceful challenge on Henry and Kweku shouldn't have retaliated and despite our protest will almost definitely pay the penalty and be suspended for 3 games.

Just a word on the young left back who I though had a decent debut and looked promising.

Agree it's a bit of a dilemma.

To improve our crowds we have to improve our facilities but also our performances and success on the pitch will largely dictate our attendances going up to the 'magical' 1,000+ average.
