Excellent win in the Trophy for Weymouth at Yeovil.

Unfortunately results in the league mean they are now rock bottom of the division.

Gateshead vs Farsley Celtic was abandoned after 28 minutes last night when Lewis Turner the 32 year old Farsley Celtic captain suffered a suspected cardiac arrest.

Chertsey travel to Aldershot in the next round.

In possibly a similar way to us having bigger priorities than the Bucks & Berks Cup, some National League clubs don’t seem to consider the FA Trophy a priority……. it will lead to one or possibly two clubs from outside the National League making it to the Quarter Finals.

We shouldn't be surprised by these cup upsets.

Most NL clubs will prioritise the league and the FA Cup because that's where the money is.

Other cups like the Trophy where the money is small in comparison or non existent like the count cups will be used to play fringe players who need minutes and players coming back from injury.
