I was quite impressed with him when we played Welling but I have a friend of a friend who plays for Welling and he really didn’t rate him at all….ill judge on what I see…

I do think him and Hutchinson has the makings of a good partnership though.

With Youngs as a 10 and Peake / Leonard as Wing Backs it certainly has more potency than we’ve seen recently….i wonder if we can find a way of not concerning so many as having to score 3/4 to win isn’t feasible at this level.

Most Welling fans don’t rate him from some reason from what I’ve seen on their twitter etc and I don’t understand why to be honest. A new player to step 2, who can clearly bag goals if provided the service. I really liked him at W&F last season when they played us.

Most are complaining about his hold up play though, but honestly I don’t care if he can score a goal every 2/3 games. Pair that with Hutchinson, who obviously has been in great form recently, long may that continue, we could have a decent squad.

Only worries are Alfie Tuck/Scott/Cox getting recalled around the new year.

Chukwu is no Wyllie or Faal, but with 17 goals in 42 appearances last season and 5 from 17 this, the stats suggest we should at least get the odd goal out of him! 🤞

Yeah agree, I’m not expecting a goal a game ratio when he comes but if he can bag 1/2 goals in 2/3 games if we get firing off the back of Tonbridge, for I imagine we got him at a quite cheap price, could be the difference whether we stay up this season or not.

I agree.

Hes definitely someone who makes the squad stronger and offers another player who has physical presence along with Brown as well as being a player opposition defenders will have to take care of.

No one’s picking up a goal a game striker - even Mo Faal only has 5 league goals for Worthing!

Oppostion fans are rarely gracious in their appraisal of an outgoing player, it’s upto us to mould a team that’s greater than the sum of its parts that’s good enough to finish above four other teams.

Im more hopeful of this today than I was on Monday!!
