Well.  She’s only been and gorn and done it.  Many congratulations to Marta on being our first lady champion.  And indeed our first winner from the Southern hemisphere – so a double first.  Jolly good stuff.  And as the current top scorer, very well deserved.

But the real excitement was at the bottom of Division 1 where three of the bottom four won (obviously I was the exception) to set up the squeaky bum time to end all squeaky bum times for the remaining 3 relegation spots.   It’s the hope that kills you guys – but good luck to all. 

In Div 2, the top two swapped positions on goals scored, but frankly who cares – they’re both already up.  And Old Urchin more or less confirmed his ascent – so it’s all about the final play off position to join Baby Jago, Blackballed and Paul whose places are now assured.   The hot money is on Mick The Bat – but would you really put your hard-earned cash on him?   Exactly.
