Eynesbury United's 'in house' match report:

Spartan South Midlands League Division 2
MK Irish Res (0) 1 Eynesbury United (3) 4 (Routs, Meeds, Gauge, Baxter)
The Bulls produced a great display in MK last night when they beat MK Irish Reserves. The Irish had a number of notable players on the pitch, including Ben Sheppard who was Newport Pagnell's winning FA Vase Captain. In total the Irish had seven players in their starting line up who have played for the First Team this season.
The Bulls came out of the traps putting Irish under pressure, and within minutes they were ahead. Man of the match Owen Meeds caused the Irish defence to panic, the ball fell to Routs whose original shot was blocked, the ball fell to Baxter who slipped Routs in behind the defence and he steered it past Halai in the Irish goal.
Moments later it was 2-0 - a ball from Irvine found Meeds who beat Kelsey, cut inside and slotted the ball into the top corner. Two up and the Bulls were playing Irish off the park. Owen Meeds was winning every header and was causing Irish so many problems. He had two great headers, one flew across the front of the goal, and no one could tap it home, and then he rose above the Irish defence and headed just wide. Meeds though did provide the ammo for the next goal when he won the ball at the far post, and Joe Gauge was on hand to blast it home. The Bulls were now in cruise mode, and Baxter had a great effort which the keeper saved. MK Irish grew into the half, and on the heavy pitch legs started to tire, but they went in at half time 3-0 to the good.
The second half started with MK on the front foot, but not really creating an chances. The Bulls had two great chances to increase their lead. Ryan Baxter got to the by line and pulled the ball back, and Cal Irvine at the far post just had to prod home, but he kicked the ball into the ground, and the keeper saved. Baxter then had a free kick which Halai spilled and Chris Newtons effort was saved.
And as always happens the Irish went up the other end and Burgess tapped home after a vicious shot bounced back off Martin. It was then 'squeaky bum time' for the Bulls, but again MK could not capitalise. The Bulls then got that vital fourth goal, when Brad Brown slipped Baxter in, Ryan raced clear and buried the ball to give United all three points.
A great response after Saturday's defeat to Bovingdon. This weekend they travel to Hemingfords United in the Hunts Intermediate Cup, kick 1:30pm
