Taking into account yesterday’s poor crowd, what could we expect if we were drawn at home to Maidenhead? Certainly 1,000+, 1,500 maybe, could it attract 2,000?

Very possibly would pull in somewhere near 2,000.

Having said that if we were drawn at home against any of the ex pro sides in the NL like Forest Green, Southend, Barnet etc it would pull in a very large crowd.

I would be very surprised if it drew anywhere near 2000, particularly if the prices are more than are often charged for Berks & Bucks matches.

Their average home league attendance so far this season (according to FWP) is a mere 1239, with the highest being 1426 vs Barnet on Bank Holiday Monday. From their perspective, it would be a first round FA Trophy match away vs lower league opposition, they're struggling and bound to concentrate on NLP survival, and it'll take place on (what could be) a cold/wet December day.

This is a message to Lexus.

Lexus, if we are 1 nil up and in the 90th minute of the Trophy game against Maidenhead, and a black and white shirted  ++++  is bearing down on goal with only Charlie to beat ,( similar to what happened v Chatham),

TAKE ONE FOR THE GREATER GOOD !

I'm a great believer in fair play and playing to the spirit of the game, but this is Maidenhead we're talking about ! :97:
