What a great result that was. In the toughest of tough conditions I thought we coped with the conditions far better than they did and it showed in the end. Whole team showed up and played to their ability, which made all the difference. Very difficult to pick a MoM today but I think overall the right guy won it, Lexus has been a revelation at RB and scored not only the winner today but I'd say a heck of a contender already for goal of the season.

If that's Maidenheads team and performances, no wonder they are struggling so badly in the NL. They will 100% get relegated if that's how they play week in week out. Having said that for the most part, I'd say we did a job on them and made them struggle to play against us.

Roll on Monday and the draw🙂🙂

Tickets still available for the away end and no 'sold out' confirmation tells me that Maidenhead didn't sell all their allocation of 500.

No doubt that the weather forecast has put some of the fair weather people off.

Surprised how poor they were! Let’s hope don’t somehow escape relegation yet again, so we can give them a proper battering next season. Crappy conditions meant the performance was never going to be a spectacle but who cares we won!

Yes excellent result  Their performance reflected the absolute rubbish they've been for weeks  but hey we'll  take that. Anyone know many hardy souls braved the conditions? Thanks

Great result, & fantastic organisation by all at the Club.

The weather was bleak, and as a football spectacle I thought it was appalling, and I know it has now become part of the non league game as well, but some of our antics were embarrassing.

The last time I saw us play in a match so poor was the 0-0 draw at Kettering.

But congratulations we are through to the next round.

I reckon quite a few knocked it on the head because of the weather, maidenheads side definitely wasn’t the 450 they reportedly sold.

Also I want to know why loads of Maidenhead fans were allowed to stand the whole match on the yellow hatched area? It’s mentioned every home match no one is allowed to stand in this area but our useless stewards just allowed them too! If it ever properly kicked off these stewards would be absolutely pointless in preventing anything. Get rid before an incident occurs.

Think you’re right as it seemed we had sold near 2,000 in total but a couple hundred didn’t bother to show, their loss I guess. With prize money and share of gate receipts (is that the case still?) we should have made around £10k today. Yes it was cold and windy but certainly not storm grade.

So the 4th round draw is on Monday around 3:15pm. Looking at last years 4th round matches it’s now national so we really can get anyone! Not many so called lesser teams left and plenty of crappy matches we could get (away to any step 1 or 2). Do we want a home draw against one of the big boys or a kinder draw for a chance to progress to last 16?

I don't think anyone was expecting to see too much good football being played in that sort of weather.

As for our embarrassing antics, I don't remember seeing much of that and if there was I don't think it was anything bad enough to be embarrassed about.

Excellent result played in a swirling wind that made playing any good football nearly impossible.

Comfortable at 2-0 until we gave away our obligatory soft goal to make it a more nervy finish than it should of been.

Taking nothing away from Lexus, my MOTM was Henry Ochieng for another good solid all round performance.

Draw on Monday with the 4th round being played on the 4th of Jan. which will replace our home game with Torquay.

A bit unfortunate that it's Torquay as it will I'm sure affect our attendance when the game is played on a Tuesday night.

On a side note anyone know what happened to the Funky Elephant food wagon?

don't think it was due today but i could be wrong

We were due Fig & Fleur which turned up and Funky Elephant which didn't.

Perhaps it was due to the weather.

409 from M'head which imo wasn't good from them.

No clue what you’re referring to but perhaps you’d prefer we’d encouraged them to get back in the game. Odd comment

That’s probably one of the very few matches I wouldn’t go to. Home to anyone I feel we have a chance.

Although, since their game was called off, that could mean Farsley Celtic. I'd fancy us against them home or away as they are having to play home games at Buxton, 90 minutes away.

That said, I'm a anyone at home person.

For me,  anyone at home from outside of our division and from the North.

Spennymoor, Altrincham,  Stockton,  Radcliffe etc.

I remember ties in the 80's against Rossendale (had never heard of it before) and of course Scarborough.
