I remember the Wycombe and Maidenhead rivalry being mainly in the 60's 70's and early 80's.

The fiercest rivalry was always Wycombe then Maidenhead.

In more recent times Chesham became a rival but to a much lesser extent than Wycombe or Maidenhead.

It all depends on your age/era you were brought up in.

I've had the joy of watching victories over Wycombe in the FA Cup, the FA Trophy, the Isthmian League, and the B&B Cup (twice in a row) but the best was still that away win in the Wycombe Floodlit League in December 1965 (incidentally Les Hartridge's last game that season before he was banned) because, as they say, you always remember your first time.

But for me the fiercest rivalry is still Maidenhead. "Never felt more like singing The Blues, when Maidenhead win and Slough Town lose."

I started watching late 60s, early 70s and Wycombe was always the big rivalry for me - right up until their promotion into the EFL. But always wanted us to beat Maidenhead and definitely do on Saturday.

Still have memories of 4-1 away at Loakes Park, coming back to win 3-2 in the league at Wexham Park and Steve Hill's studs scraping a late winner in the trophy.

The second yellow card Maidenhead defender Alan Massey received against York has been rescinded due to 'mistaken identity'.

The yellow card has instead been transferred to defender Will De Havilland and because he received a yellow card late in the game now has a one match suspension.

The Maidenhead chairman has announced a meeting on 11th December when the clubs intention regarding the Kilman windfall will be revealed obviously under pressure to buy their way out of the crap they are in

I don't think that's correct. Ground plans and sustainability will be at the forefront.

That's how I understood it Bernie.

How best to use the Kilman money to improve their current ground until they can move to another site sometime in the future.

What players are we missing due to suspensions..is it just Dan?

Yes.

As far as I'm aware the 10 yellow card and 2 match suspension comes into play after we've played 19 games.

We've now played 20 league games so this should now be the case.

I think he is under pressure from fans but will make the case to prioritise as you have said

Had a feeling they’d be on the day ticket sales. I wonder what the capacity is if we’ve sold around 2,000 already? I’m guessing the away section can hold more than 500 as they had pretty much sold out. Hopefully hundreds don’t turn up on the day wanting tickets as there could be chaos.

Tickets still available for the away end and no 'sold out' confirmation tells me that Maidenhead didn't sell all their allocation of 500.

No doubt that the weather forecast has put some of the fair weather people off.

I was thinking the same for tomorrows game,no doubt the weather will put people off.

What a great result that was. In the toughest of tough conditions I thought we coped with the conditions far better than they did and it showed in the end. Whole team showed up and played to their ability, which made all the difference. Very difficult to pick a MoM today but I think overall the right guy won it, Lexus has been a revelation at RB and scored not only the winner today but I'd say a heck of a contender already for goal of the season.

If that's Maidenheads team and performances, no wonder they are struggling so badly in the NL. They will 100% get relegated if that's how they play week in week out. Having said that for the most part, I'd say we did a job on them and made them struggle to play against us.

Roll on Monday and the draw🙂🙂
