The ticket details about this Trophy game on the club website says that Slough Town "club members" have a "priority window" to purchase tickets for this game from now until midnight on Sunday, before other supporters can do so.

I guess Slough Town "club members" means season ticket holders ?

I've bored you before about my inability to purchase a season ticket for this season, so I don't regard myself as a "member" as I haven't got one.

The thing is, I've just gone onto the Fanbase page using the link on the club website, and bought a ticket for the Trophy game v Maidenhead.

I was expecting to have to wait until Monday to get one.

I'm not complaining though.

So basically anyone can buy a ticket including Maidenhead fans?

That's what it looks like to me Glen.

I had no problem with the club letting our season ticket holders have first crack at getting tickets for this game.

That's how it should be, but I thought I'd just see how far I could go into the buying procedure  before I was blocked from completing my purchase, but the transaction went through to completion without a problem or delay.

I will add to this that on the ticket page at 6.30 concession age stated 60+ after being distracted i went to get my ticket at 8.00 to see that on the ticket page concession age had gone up to 65+.

He interesting to see how many 60+ got their ticket £5 cheaper.

I wasn't quick enough to get a cheaper "concession" ticket !

Doh!

It has been suggested to me by Bonjour that "member" might refer to a Slough supporter who has previously signed up online with Fanbase and bought a Slough match ticket this way.

That would explain why I was able to get a ticket for the Maidenhead game, and a Maidenhead fan wouldn't be able to do so.

A "club member" to me though suggests a season ticket holder.

That's what it should be, shouldn't it ?

That's how I read the ticket info on the website anyhow.

These online tickets will be the death of me ! 😄

Eligibility to join the priority sale seems to include the handful of people who purchased November Saver tickets as well as the memberships (Rebels, Rebels+, Club 1890 etc.) due to the way Fanbase is set up.

I bought my ticket at 17.40 in wallet it has 60 on it. Printing it off it says 65 both at the same price.

Age must of changed between buying and printing ticket off.

Does anyone know what the parking arrangements are? Are the St Joseph's passes valid? If not, will there be any charge? Is it first come first serve?

I can't find any mention on the website and it may influence whether or not I purchase a ticket. Thanks

Nathan, I was told yesterday that the club are still in discussions around charging for car parking.

Thanks RR.

But I don't understand why we've announced the ticketing arrangements without knowing what the parking arrangements will be. I for one probably won't get a ticket unless I'm reasonably sure I'm going to get a parking space (as I live over 2 hours drive away).

This isn’t a club web-site, it’s a fans forum with at most a couple of dozen regular posters….. have you e-mailed the club asking this question?

There's no need to be so reasonable 😉

No I haven't. As I see it, it's an simple and obvious question with no financial or other sensitive details involved, best asked out in the open where everyone can see the question and (in this case, lack of) answers. I also know that several people who may have be in a position to answer do frequent this forum, even if they don't post very often.

In the past I've driven in as normal and parked on my pass although I believe for the Grimsby match I was directed to the right for the only time and came in at the Academy end and not St. Joseph's gate.

Yes my understanding is that for early round FA Cup & Trophy matches the pass will probably still be valid (though it's not guaranteed), provided we're not expecting a crowd of thousands. I've seen nothing yet to suggest that this time it is or isn't, which I find strange as it may put people off attending.

As mentioned, £5 for all parking at St. Joe's

Rip off!

I did warn you there was likely to be a reason why parking was left off the original ticketing, and the fans are being asked to pay well over the odds to park.

Even Spencer Day only extorts £2 for parking!

Ashley is determined to take a profit from the club.  Big increase in season tickets, more opportunities in the ground for fans to part with their hard earned money, and a reduction in the playing budget.
