Eynesbury United's match report:

Spartan South Midlands Division 2
Eynesbury Utd (0) 3 Sarratt FC (0) 1 (Palmer 2, Meeds), Att: 58
A brilliant fifteen minute spell at the start of the second half saw the Bulls score three quality goals to give them three valuable points.
Sarratt had come into the game on an eleven game unbeaten run and the Bulls Management team knew this was going to be a tough assignment. The first half was a scrappy affair with no real quality, but the Bulls had the better of the play, Owen Meeds had the best chance after being played through by Ty McLeod, but he snatched at the chance and the ball sailed over. United continued to huff and puff and it was the final ball that was letting them down. Palmer was put through just shy of half time but his shot went wide.
Gaffer Field made a telling change at half time moving Iwen Jones to the left hand side, and this was to pay dividends. In the 47th minute a great ball from Arnold sent Archie Palmer through, Archie’s pace took him clear of the defender and he slotted it pass Pinnock in the Sarratt goal.
Three minutes later he was at it again, another ball over the top saw Palmer again sprinting clear, his effort was saved by Pinnock, but Palmer gleefully smashed the ball home to double the lead. Two soon became three when again Arnold intercepted the ball and played Ty McLeod in down the Sarratt left. Ty skipped past the defender and squared to Meeds who made no mistake to score.
United were playing some great football and nearly scored a worldly after the impressive Brad Brown played a one two - the dummied the ball which found its way to Meeds but his shot went over the bar.
And just as the game was looking comfortable, Sarratt pulled one back and then had a good fifteen minute spell putting the Bulls under pressure but some solid goalkeeping and good defending saw them see the game out and take the three points. MoM was Nathan Arnold, brilliant display which had everything. On to next week now when the Bulls travel to Newport Pagnell Town Development, kick off 3:00pm.

Division Two
New Bradwell St Peter 12 The 61 FC (Luton) 0

A groundhopper from another Forum was at this rout:

New Bradwell St Peter 12-0 The 61FC (Luton) Spartan South Midlands League Division 2
On a chilly, grey afternoon in North Bucks I only stuck around for the first half of this one - 12-0 turned out to be the final score, it was 6-0 at the break and that was enough for me. As a fellow spectator commented, if it had been a boxing match they would have stopped it after a quarter of an hour and, on another day, by half time New Bradwell could have scored a dozen or even 15. The 61’s keeper made several excellent saves including a penalty, his team mates offered little in the way of effort, organisation or technique, the old fellow in their dugout at least hypothetically coaching them was mostly just arguing with the players, they had brought with them but a single substitute. Gloomy, gloomy times for one of the stalwart Club's in this League, the Peter's meanwhile look like promotion challengers.

A groundhopper from another Forum was at Ostlers Lane, also see a match report:

Stony Stratford Town 4-1 Tring Corinthians Spartan South Midlands League Division 2
A quick dash from the 2pm kick off at New Bradwell and I was only 90 seconds late for the 3pm start at Stony, which was against the same opponent I’d seen in a cup match a few weeks ago. That had been a frustrating experience for the Stony boys, this in contrast was, in the first half at least, one of their most assured performances of the season: 2-0 up with Tring hardly able to lay a glove on them. The second period was finely balanced for long periods, Tring missed a great chance , Stony scored the goal of the game to go three up and then netted a fourth following an almighty balls-up by the visiting keeper. He recovered sufficiently to save a penalty soon afterwards, his team were able to record a late consolation goal and the late afternoon cold was warded off by someone kindly sharing with me this clip of Emu manhandling Rod Hull into a supermarket freezer.
