This isn't going to be a walk in the park for Biggleswade United against United Counties League Premier Division South March Town United, the Club's met in a Hinchingbrooke Cup Semi Final last season with March Town United winning 1-0 at their Great Eastern Railway (GER) Sports Stadium:

A groundhopper from another Forum was at Second Meadow:

FA Vase - Verdant Stadium - new tick
Biggleswade United 2 (2) March Town United 3 (0)
Admission: £7, didnt see any Paper, suspect online Attendance: 168 (a lot of well-oiled away fans). Coffee and an egg mayo roll £3.50.
A Step 5 tussle between 9th in SSMP and 3rd in UCLSP. Ground is a basic set up even for this level. At least it's in town unlike the Yvette Brewer. Clubhouse is outside and access is by turnstile at one end. Two bits of cover either side, with both seats and standing. A small tea hatch on the left as you enter. All enclosed in grey corrugated metal fencing which doesn't inspire. Very friendly people though.
The home side got their strategy wrong today. First half, they were punchy and aimed to hit on the break. They had two chances and took both. A deflected shot on 19' and a fine low finish after a through ball on 41'. March huffed but United were able to snuff any threat out quite easily, I overheard a couple of locals hoping that the team wouldn't settle for defending what they had in the second half. They were wrong, sadly.
The difference between the sides was palpable from the off, March tearing into the home side right away and pulled a goal back after 48' after a right wing pull back was slotted in from 2 yards. March continued to attack, willed on by 40-50 fans behind the goal. With the pressure building, the home side gave away a blatant penalty on 68' which was scored. The home side just could not build anything or retain the ball, and created no chances at all. March should have had another three as they missed good chances. We got to the 90' mark still level and looking at penalties, when a corner was awarded on 90+3, the ball swung over and March's #5 thumped in a headed winner. Cue mayhem. Good tie in the end and glad I made the effort. Back to Premier Inn in Stevenage in 20'.
