A groundhopper from another Forum was in attendance at River Road:

Spartan South Midlands League Division 1

Six pound entry and one pound programme
Pleasant ground surrounded by trees saw a ultimately comfortable win for Eaton Socon
Couple of things to note when visiting;

  • They do a very small programme run, think there were five or six when I got there at two
  • The Clubhouse is inside the ground (the people in the bowls Clubhouse will not appreciate you going in) and drinks are purchased from a shed outside. It does also have BT Sports

Pre. game visit to the small but interesting St Neots Museum then crossed the road to the Pig and Falcon where there was a decent selection of beer. Also stopped off at the Barley Mow which breaks up the walk nicely. Ground is about forty minutes walk from St Neots Station.
